With the leak of the Silent Hill: Origins demo and now a CST, I've decided to write a policy on downloading.
First off, just to make it clear, SilentHillOrigins.com or SilentHill5.net will NOT be hosting any kind of ISO, CSO, OST or anything like that so don't bother asking us to host it. Official trailers, screenshots and game play videos we will host but under no circumstances will we host an ISO of either the demo or the game itself.
Downloading the demo yourself is out of our control, however we will do everything in our power to prevent such links on our forums being posted. Downloading any ISO or anything like that of the full game will not be tolerated. If you post links on the forums to an ISO of the full game you will be banned for 7 days and the links will be removed. If you do it again you will be permanently banned.
The demo file also contains the soundtrack to Silent Hill: Origins which is in the same category as the demo/game ISO. We will not tolerate the posting of links or downloads of the full soundtrack or any file from it in any way. I want the OST as soon as I can have it as im sure a lot of you do as well, but we should all buy instead of illegally downloading it.
Anything to do with hacking the CSO or ISO is also prohibited.
If we are fans we need to support Konami by actually buying a real copy. If Silent Hill: Origins does well we could easily see another Silent Hill from Climax on PSP which I am 100% in favor of if its happens. Missing this download policy is not an excuse.
