Generally, Konami Gamers Day the event is held in San Fransico, California, USA sometime around the 20th-25th of the month of January (third weekend of the month). The events are usually open to the press, but it seems that select members of the public are also in attendence. Konami's Gamers Day is an event in which the company reveals it plans for the major games and gaming events that will happen for the year. It is their end of the financial year for them, where they evaluate the previous year and then set the tone for the year to come. The events are especially nice for the fans who attend, because they often get limited edition merchandise and items when attending. At the announcement of Silent Hill 4: The Room, attendees received T-shirts that had a major character from SH2 depicted as one of the ghosts from SH4. In 2003, attendees recieved limited edition soundtracks, postcards and demos of Silent Hill 3.
